How it works and what you get
Every feature exists for one reason: to turn what you couldn't see in the moment into insight and guidance you can act on.
Generic AI vs. Conversophy
Pasting a transcript into a generic chatbot gives you one pass of text: no separate step for recognising patterns, no timeline, no per-speaker communication patterns with direct quotes and evidence-strength indicators. A single ungrounded pass can hallucinate, so results are hit-and-miss.
With Conversophy, your conversation goes through a rigorous process: pattern recognition first (Expert Engine), then a timeline of how it unfolded, communication patterns, dynamics, and role-specific reports with personalised guidance, so every finding (and every recommendation) is traceable to the conversation, not a single block of text you can't check.
Smart Upload
Upload an audio recording, a document, or plain text. Conversophy reads the file, identifies the speakers, and structures the conversation before analysis begins. Recordings are transcribed automatically; existing transcripts and chat logs are parsed and speaker-labelled; or simply paste the text. You can review and correct the transcript before anything runs, so nothing depends on a perfect import.

Verification
Conversophy doesn't take its first impressions at face value. Every significant finding, especially anything safety-related or emotionally sensitive, is re-examined: does it hold up under closer scrutiny, could there be an alternative interpretation, is there enough evidence to include it with confidence? Findings that don't survive this check are quietly set aside. What reaches you has been weighed from several angles, not merely detected.
Every significant finding is tested
Verified (included)
Holds up across multiple dimensions of evidence and the full conversational context.
Re-examined
Checked for alternative readings (sarcasm, irony, indirect speech) before it counts.
Set aside
Doesn't survive scrutiny, quietly left out before it reaches your report.
Communication Patterns
Communication and processing styles, action orientation, stress patterns, relational orientation, and emotional regulation. Six dimensions per speaker, each backed by direct quotes, with evidence-strength indicators showing how clearly each one comes through. Every read reflects how each person communicated (based on what was said, and how and when they said it), never sweeping generalisations that mistake behaviour in the moment for who someone is.

Dynamics
Talk time, interruptions made and received, speech rate, filler words, softener rate, acknowledgments, questions, and tone sentiment, visualised per speaker as a quantitative dashboard. Turns the subjective impression of 'I barely got a word in' into an objective measurement you can act on. For email or text threads, the display automatically adapts: timing metrics are hidden, turns become messages, and the analysis focuses on what's measurable in async communication.

Auto-Suggested Settings
After your context is set, Conversophy recommends the highest-confidence Focus Areas, Interaction Patterns, Skills, and Practices across all four configuration dimensions. Each recommendation comes with a confidence score and a short, evidence-grounded reason it was chosen, so you can see the thinking before you decide. You review every recommendation before accepting, and can swap any individual item from a full alternatives list while keeping the others. Nothing runs until you approve it.

Deep Insights
The Deep Insights Report is the primary analysis: a structured walk through the conversation, divided into named sections: from How the Conversation Unfolded and What Got in the Way to Responsibility & Impact, Next Steps You Can Try, and ready-to-use Phrases for Tough Moments. The analytical sections are grounded in direct quotes with timestamps, so you can see exactly what was said, when, and why it matters. A collapsible section sidebar lets you jump to any part instantly, and you can read it as a flowing document or step through it section by section in Slideshow mode. The report ends with Recommended Resources: curated reading matched to your specific conversation dynamics. It's assembled from the verified findings, the Timeline, and each speaker's profile, woven together with your chosen focus areas, patterns, skills, and practices. The number of possible configurations runs into the quintillions, so no two reports are ever the same.

Outside Party Mode
When you set the audience to Outside Party, Conversophy rewrites the analysis for a professional reviewing the conversation from the outside, rather than a participant in it. The language, focus, and recommendations calibrate to your role, across clinical, organisational, educational, pastoral, and legal review contexts, so a clinical supervisor gets a developmental read, a mediator a neutral both-sides view, and a legal adviser evidence-grounded observations. It stays advisory: it surfaces patterns and context to inform your judgement, and does not diagnose anyone, establish disputed facts, reach legal conclusions, or replace your professional judgement.
